Who is North Star International?

North Star International works directly with landowners to buy or lease land for the development of large, utility scale solar, wind, gas or geothermal power generation. North Star has been operating for over 25 years all over the world and has developed sites for over 3 gigawatts of power generation. Today, North Star is focusing primarily in the United States to develop power for direct and indirect use by Artificial Intelligence data centers. AI data center developers who are moving north into Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming and other northern states to reduce the power required for cooling will utilize North Star power either directly or through the local utility grid to save millions of dollars per year making them highly competitive.

What do we do?

North Star follows a very precise process to evaluate land for solar, wind, gas and geothermal. Once a location is validated, North Star works with the landowner on either a lease or sale of the land. Next, North Star conducts title searches, environmental studies, ALTA surveys, and generation systems engineering. Once this is completed, North Star either works with the AI data center developers for direct power supply or with the utility for transmission interconnection. In parallel, North Star works at the county level for local permitting and approvals and at the state level for permitting and approvals. Finally, the projects are turned over to the EPC contractors for construction.
